Witness of assault towards Xerabé Bava village : I thought they will kill all of us

MARDİN – Resident of Xerabé Bava Village M.A said “ State forces raided our home two times and my son exposed to torture. This is happening third times to us since 1990’s period. They mowed down and killed our fatlings, burnt numbers houses”.

 Burning down the village in 90’s is repeated in front of public eyes in Xerabé Bava Village of Nusaybin County in 2017. One of the villager M.A who could leave from  the village to hospital due to heart problem. “We saw 20 or 30 soldiers from window that they entered the garden and  began to mow down around” said M.A.

“ They point a gun on my son’s head. ‘Two people left from your garden. If you don’t tell us their name we will kill you’ said to my son. My son said that he just came from Cyprus and knows and seen no one. Then they took my son to the basement. I lost my consciousness afraid of they will kill my son” said M.A.


M.A stated that gun shot was heard around evening. “ But we couldn’t look out side because of we afraid. Then they raided towards our home second time. They broke the doors and windows during raidings. I and my husband had  medical operation . I thought that they will kill all of us. Two of them started to beat my son” stated M.A.

M.A also reminded that they lived same situation in 1990’s period. “ They did us same thing in 1990’s, burning our houses, forcing to migrate from our homeland” said M.A.
