Camera set up in toilets and baths of prison

ADANA – Prisoner Mirza Aydın conveyed that there are security camere in toilets, bathrooms and dormitory rooms in Tekirdaü F Type Prison.


Prisoner Mirza Aydın conveyed rights violation towards prisoners  during State of Emergency   via his family in Tekirdağ F Type Closed Prison. Father Dijvar Aydın said “ I spoke with my son by phone and he stated rights violations increased in the prison.”

Mother Aydın “My son is in prison since 2008 and he said oppressions rose recently. He said ‘ Mom we are under the heavy pressure. They put cameras everywhere. In toilets, bathrooms, dormitory rooms. We can’t receive letter from outside nor send. Our books and magazines were seized. All of rights of us were seized’ to me on phone.”


Mother Aydın also mentioned that they applied to Adana Branch of Human Rights Association (İHD) after they spoke with their son.
