Killed journalist sued because of he reported his death 2017-03-06 10:43:12 DİYARBAKIR – Killed Azadiya Welat Newspaper chief in editor Rohat Aktaş in Cizre during curfew while he was taking cover in a basement was sued because of “ He made news of his death”. A warrant also had been issued for Aktaş four months later he was killed. It was came to light that chief public prosecutor's office of Diyarbakır presented a case against closed Azadiya Welat Newspaper chief in editor Rohat Aktaş on 6 June 2016. But Aktaş lost his life in a basement of Cizre while curfew and bombardment were continuing. According to accusation, reports that Aktaş made in Cizre, Sur and Yüksekova during curfew were shown as evidences to “ being member of illegal organization”. The most attending-grabbing evidence in accusation is a new which reported that 60 people included journalist Aktaş were murdered in a basement of Cizre on 9 February 2016.
