Bar president batters a women lawyer during press statement on March 8

MERSİN – Bar president of Mersin pushed away member of Women Commission of Bar lawyer Şilan Türk who wanted to make statement on March 8 from chair.

A statement was made by Mersin Bar on March 8 in Mersin.  Member of Women Commission of Bar Şilan Türk wanted to make statement after president Ali Er’s speech. But president Er reacted to Türk and pushed her away from the chair and said “press statement is over and there will be no more statement.”

Türk reminded that women commission  should make statement on March 8 World Women Day but Türk and other members of the commission were battered by bar president. Numbers of Bar’s lawyer reacted to president because he pushed Türk away from chair.
