Hunger strike continues in prisons

NEWS BUREOU  -  Prisoners of PKK and PAJK launched hunger strike for a month as alternately for drawing attention to rights violations in prisons.

Prisoners of PKK (Kurdistan Worker Party) and PAJK ( Free Women Party of Kurdistan) launched hunger strike for a month as alternately for drawing attention to rights violations in prisons especially in İmralı Island where PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan is kept . It was reported that hunger strike will continue until April 15 as alternately for five days.

Meanwhile prisoners of Şakran Prison in İzmir have launched  İndefinite hunger strike without rotation 29 days ago for same demands.
