Classified document exhibited to the court : PYD is not a terrorist organization and any terrorist activities weren’t found in Turkey 2017-03-16 16:15:23 URFA – ‘Classified’ document of Interior Ministry which has written ‘ PYD is not terrorist organization’ was exhibited to the court as evidence against the claims towards imprisoned HDP co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ to being ‘member of illegal organization’. Co-chair of Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Figen Yüksekdağ had said “ We are laying back on one who fights against IŞİD ( Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant). We are laying back on one who defends noble values of humanity. We are laying back on YPG,YPJ and PYD” on third anniversary of Rojava Revolution. Prosecutor had launched an investigation towards co-chair Yüksekdağ after her speech on claims of “being member of illegal organization” and “praising to illegal organization”. But according to classified document which has sent to Police headquarter by Interior ministry , PYD ( Democratic Union Party) is not terrorist organization and any terrorist activities weren’t found in Turkey which was conducted by PYD. Exhibited document to the court shows PYD wasn’t at list of Terrorist Organization in Turkey while Yüksekdağ had this speech which is shown as evidence to “ being member of illegal organization”. Yüksekdağ’s lawyer Sevda Çelik said “ All speech of Yüksekdağ whic she spoke on third anniversary of Rojava Revolution in Urfa was shown as evidence to being member of illegal organization. Turkish Government was negotiating with PYD when Yüksekdağ made this statement. The document we exhibited to the court show to us that PYD wasn’t at list of terrorist organizations in Turkey so speech of Yüksekdağ can’t not be shown as evidence to ‘being member of illegal organization.”
