Syrian Citizen forced to sign a testimony in Turkish without informed by interpreter 2017-03-17 16:15:29 URFA – Syrian citizen named Mustafa Muhammed Ali who was jailed despite to crossed the border legally was forced to sign a testimony in Turkish language which he doesn’t speak. Ali’s lawyer Hidayet Enmek said his client is jailed since one year and seven months and he was forced to sign a testimony without translator. “ Mustafa Muhammed Ali had been taken into custody while he was passing the border from Kobané to Suruç (Turkey) and he was exposed to torture and forced to sign a testimony in Turkish without informed by translator. He is in prison since one year and seven months and he is kept alone in a cell since five months” said lawyer Enmek.
