NEWS BUREAU  – Numbers people included politicians, elected neighborhood representatives, sect leaders and public laborers were taken into custody in raids before Newroz Celebration in Van, Bingöl and Diyarbakır.


Police raided number houses in Bingöl at early morning hours and took nine people into custody. It was reported that province executives of HDP ( Peoples’ Democratic Party) Zerrin Berdibek and Mahmut Bozan and executives of DBP ( Democratic Regions Party) Cihan Yıldırım,Aydın Kaya, Selahattin Demirel,Cengiz Turhan,Türkan Kişin, Aydın Burcun and Selahattin Burkankolu were taken into custody and sent to police headquarter.


Police also raided to numbers houses in Çaldıran county of Van city at the same time. It was reported that 40 people included HDP and DBP executives , one sect leader and one elected neighborhood representative were taken into custody without any justification.


Numbers houses were raided at the same time by police forces in Diyarbakır at early morning hours. It was reported that numbers people included public laborers and labor  union representatives were taken into custody.
