Imprisoned HDP co-chairs : We will protect our people dignity and we will certainly win

ANKARA – Imprisoned HDP co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ sent messages for Newroz Celebration. “ We will not  bow and kneel down in front of tyranny and cruelty. We will protect our people dignity everywhere and we will certainly win” said co-chairs.




Imprisoned HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ sent letters for Newroz Celebration.

Our dear mothers,




Young friends,




Women comrades,




We greets with warmly of freedom fire   to millions from seven to seventy who gathered in Newroz Celebration. We celebrates to all of yours Newroz with solution,democracy and peace hopes.




Newroz fire is enthusiastic raising that lightened even the strongest darkness despite all pressures and bans.




Unfortunately politic institution couldn’t give to people peace  from Mr.Öcalan’s historic peace call  on 2013’s Newroz to today. Even the basic problem is hegemonic politic identity’s war insist , we still feel shame and debted  to people.

 

We want to clearly say this on behalf of our imprisoned thousands HDP politicians, we will keep continue to struggle for peace and find solution on democratic politic ground.

We will not  bow and kneel down in front of tyranny and cruelty. We will protect our people dignity everywhere and we will certainly win.
