Young civilian killed by police : pictures released

DİYARBAKIR – Young citizen’s pictures were released while he was killed by police forces  at yesterday Newroz Celebration in Diyarbakır.




Yesterday a young citizen was killed by shotgun at the check point of police. According to pictures, half-naked youth tries to pass the check point suddenly during he was arguing with police. It is obviously seen that some police fires their guns up in the air some of them fire at the young citizen.  Despite police commander warnings, police kept continue to shot at the young.

 

After young was shot he fall to the ground and lost his life while he was taken to hospital by ambulance.




After the event, police seized all cameras of journalists and formatted all memory cards of the machines to cover the moment youth was killed.




Governorship of Diyarbakır also had made statement about the event. Governorship . A person with the backpack was wanted to search by security forces while he was trying to pass check point of Newroz area but he refused to being searched and said “ I have bomb in my backpack, I will kill all of you” and started to attack to security forces by knife. Then he ran to the Newroz Area by his knife. Despite warning of security forces, person kept continue to run.  After youth passed to check point our security forces intervened to the situation” said in a written statement.
