Baydemir at Güneş siblings funeral : If there would be justice, these children wouldn't die 2017-03-31 17:35:51 MARDİN –Havin and Fatih Güneş siblings who lost their life after unknown material exploded in their garden were buried in Nusaybin county of Mardin. HDP spokesperson Osman Baydemir attended the funeral and said “If there would be justice in this country, these children wouldn’t die.” Havin (3) and Fatih siblings lost their life yesterday after unknown material exploded. Children were buried today in Nusaybin. DTK (Democratic Society Congress) co-chair Leyla Güven, HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) spokesperson Osman Baydemir, HDP Mardin Parliamentarians Mithat Sancar and Erol Dora, HDP Batman Parliamentarian Saadet Becerikli and number citizens attended the funeral ceremony. After children was buried Baydemir spoke with uncle of the children and said “ If you ask me what is fighting, war and cruelty, I would tell you all of these mean killed innocent children. Our purpose is end this war and oppression over people. But we couldn’t succeed yet. Therefore I apologize from the family. We came to dress wound of Nusaybin people. But they made a new wound in our hearts.” Uncle Ramazan Güneş spoke after Osman Baydemir. “They returned their home after two months curfew was declared. There nothing in the garden. Because their mother cleaned up the garden at early morning hours. We don’t know where this material has come from” said uncle Güneş. After funeral ceremony, people went to HDP provincial office. Baydemir “If there would be justice in this country, those children wouldn’t die. But we will keep continue to struggle for our rights” said.
