Rescued Turkmen woman from DAİŞ slavery moves towards Raqqa 2017-04-05 16:28:16 RAQQA – Turkmen women fighter of QSD Silava Minbiç who was rescued from DAİŞ after Manbij was liberated said “Hundreds Turkmen were slaved in Raqqa and sold on slave market. I couldn’t stay silence. We will liberate Tabqa and Raqqa as we did in Manbij.” Conflicts become stronger between QSD (Democratic Syrian Forces) and DAİŞ (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) around Euphrates River while Tabqa Operation led by QSD is continuing in its 16th days. Many different identities included Kurdish, Arab and Turkmen women who rescued from DAİŞ slavery are fighting against DAİŞ in Tabqa operation. One of those fighter is a Turkmen woman named Sİlava Minbic. Minbic says she was enslaved by DAİŞ for three years and she decided to fight against DAİŞ when she was rescued. “ I am a Turkmen of Manbij city. To join QSD is a huge achievement for me. Manbij was one of the important military base for DAİŞ. Liberating the city was like re-born and rescue from cruelty of DAİŞ” says Minbic. Silave Minbic also points that there are still traces of DAİŞ in Manbij. “ But despite all things people re-born again on this land” mentions Silave Minbic. Minbic says she participates the operation of Raqqa because there are still thousands enslaved Arab,Kurd and Turkmen women by DAİŞ. “I decided to be a fighter when I was rescued from DAİŞ. I decided it because I want to end pains of my people and women. There are hundreds of enslaved women by DAİŞ in Raqqa. Most of them were slaughtered and rest of them were sold on slave market. I couldn’t stay silence to this” says Minbic. Minbic says she re-breath and live freely again by joining to QSD forces.” Spirit of QSD becomes hopes for Syrian Peoples. “ We are moving to Tabqa right now. We will liberate Tabqa and Raqqa as we liberated Manbij. I will fight until ending cruelty of DAİŞ” says Minbic.
