Message from Şakran Prison after 50 days on hunger strike

İZMİR – Prisoner  named Muazzez Baykan in hunger strike said “ We are intend on continue to indefinite hunger strike until our demands to be accepted” to her family from Şakran Prison.




Muazzez Baykan who are on indefinite hunger strike since 50 days met with her brother Zana Yatkın and said “ We are intend on continue to indefinite hunger strike until our demands to be accepted. Brother Yatkın also said prisoners on hunger strike can’t not have vitamin B12. Brother also said her sister loss weight during hunger strike. “ My sister loss weight because of indefinite hunger strike. She can’t even stand easily and her eyes were looking a point. She was like doesn’t see anything. I barely recognize her. But they were strong and intend on hunger strike. They were looking hopeful while they were looking at us and they called people from outside for solidarity” said brother Yatkın.
