Prime Minister holds a public demonstration in Şırnak where thousand houses destroyed during curfew 2017-04-06 16:49:06 ŞIRNAK – Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım will hold a public demonstration for referendum campaign in a neighborhood of Şırnak where all constructions were destroyed during 246 days of curfew. People of Şırnak “ In what face will he come?” said and Hacı Lokman Birlik’s mother Nazire Birlik said “ He needs to look very careful to the field where he is going to step for public demonstration” to Yıldırım. Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım will hold a public demonstration tomorrow in Şırnak where seventy percent of the city were destroyed during 246 of curfew. It was reported that Yıldırım hold a public demonstration in Yeni Mahalle neighborhood where thousand houses and buildings were destroyed. Police already closed the field while security measures tightened. It was also reported that AKP (Justice and Development Party) chairperson called to mukhtars of villages and asked to bring the people by provided transportation. Meanwhile people of Şırnak are reacting to Yıldırım’s coming. Abdulaziz Tunç whose house was destroyed during curfew and who lives in a rent house said “ We will vote ‘No’ in any case. They will hold a public demonstration on wrack where our houses were destroyed and our children’s bodies were buried.” “ None of people should go outside during Yıldırım’s visitation. I call our people to protest prime minister by not going outside” said Tunç. Fatma Uysal (68) reminds that thousand houses were destroyed by state forces and said “Are they coming to ask from us to vote ‘Yes’ after they killed our children? Are they expect from us to vote ‘Yes’? No one should expect from me to attend Yıldırım’s public demonstration.” Nazire Birlik’s son Hacı Lokman Birlik was one of the killed during curfew and his body was dragged by armored vehicle on October 3 of 2015. Mother Birlik reacts to Yıldırım’s coming too. She says “He will hold a public demonstration where thousands houses were destroyed during curfew. If he has compassion or goodness he should look carefully at the field where he is going to hold public demonstration. He should see what that field was before and what it is now.”
