Turkey arrests Syrian pilot 2017-04-07 12:20:38 HATAY – Syrian pilot colonel Mehmet Sufhan whose plane crashed on Turkey land was jailed on claim of “ Spy activity”. MIG 21 war plane had been crashed in Hatay city of Turkey while pilot named Mehmet Sufhan (56) was attacking Ahrar Al-Şam’s position in Latakia on March 4. After plane crashed Sufhan was sent to hospital for medical treatment. After medical treatment ended, Sufhan was jailed on claim of “Spy activity” and sent to Hatay Prison.
