Human Rights Association observes the referendum in 36 cities

ANKARA – Observing referendum demand of Human Right Association (İHD) was denied. Despite denied observation, İHD will observe referendum in 36 cities with Equal Rights Association.




Supreme Committee of Elections (YSK) denied observing referendum demand of İHD.  General Secretary of İHD Hasan Anlar mentioned that they will observe the referendum in 36 cities with Equal Rights Association ( EHD)  on April 16. “ We will observe the referendum in 36 cities. We began to training activities with  EHD and are preparing the list” said Anlar.

Anlar said they will observe the referendum on four bases. “ Which opportunities were provided for disabled citizen? Are they going to able to vote in these opportunities? Is multilingualism based? Is physical condition available to vote? Are procedure and the law complied while ballot boxes were set up?” said Anlar.
