20 people abducted in Ankara last months 2017-04-08 19:46:19 ANKARA – 20 application of missing person was reported to Human Right Association (İHD) in Ankara recent months. It was reported that spy activities was forcibly offered to abducted people and the ones who refused to offer was threatened by death. According to İHD reports over 20 people were abducted recent periods in Ankara. Most of people who were abducted have been offered to being spy for government and threated by death to who refused to be. The last abduction event happened three days ago on April 5. Member of Democratic Peoples Federation (DHF) Deniz Can Murat was abducted. High school student Murat was abducted by three people who introduced themself as police officer. Spy activity was offered to Murat when he was taken to an empty filed. “ I was asked which politic party’s member I am. I told them ‘ I am member of Socialist Students Movement. They told me ‘You are all terrorists for us’ and added ‘If you work for us things will change for you. You are looking a poor person. But if you don’t work with us you will get into trouble’ “ said Murat. Member of Union of High School Students (LÖB) Aleyna Sert said she was abducted by three police on March 30. “ I was abducted by three police and threatened when I refused to work with them as spy. They told me ‘If you work with us and not tell anyone that you were abducted you will not get into trouble’. I was followed after I was released as well” said Sert. Another LÖB member Hasret İrem. “ I was abducted by police on February 18 while I was going home from the school. I was taken to a deserted area. They asked me to wor with them as spy and threatened if I refuse. They were repeatedly saying ‘Your end will be like Berkin Elvan and Dilek Doğan if you tell anybody that you were abducted” said İrem.
