One child loose his life and one wounded after mine explosion

SİİRT – One of the siblings lost his life and another was wounded after mine explosion in Yarımtepe village of Siirt city.




Siblings named Muhammed Açıkça (12) and Kadir Açıkça (9) pushed the mine which was planted by Turkish soldier while they were feeding animal. After the explosion Muhammed Açıkça lost his life in the hospital and Kadir Açıkça was wounded.




It was reported that despite military station moved to Maden village, mines were not removed in the Yarımtepe village of Siirt. Villagers also said they applied number times to remove the mines.
