HAKKARİ – Ex-deputy of BDP Esat Canan was taken into custody during police raids to his home in Hakkari

Ex-deputy of BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) Esat Canan stated that he was taken into custody via his twitter account. “ I was taken into custody from my house in Karlı village of Yüksekova. Police are searching my home” said via twitter.

It was reported Cana was taken into custody as part of ongoing investigation which is conducted by chief public prosecutor's office of Diyarbakır.
