Following the arrest of Republican People's Party (CHP) Istanbul MP Enis Berberoğlu, thousands gathered at Ankara’s Güvenpark for “March for Justice” upon the call of the CHP. The mass began to march to Sıhhiye by carrying banners reading, “Justice”. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, leader of the CHP and CHP MPs also came to Güvenpark. Kılıçdaroğlu made a statement in front of his home before coming to Güvenpark. Kılıçdaroğlu said, “We start the march for justice, I will march today. I hope those who are deaf to the conscience understand the meaning of this march and listen to our voice and words. We don’t want any tension or fight. We want to live in peace together. We don’t want any academics in prison. These grieve us. These griefs should be ended. Now I will march to Istanbul. Our march will continue until this country has justice.”
