HDP: The march CHP launched is right reaction even they have been late for it

ANKARA –  HDP lawmaker Mithat Sancar spoke in front of the assembly and said “ justice march of CHP is right reaction even they have been late”. After statement lawmakers of HDP lawmakers staged a sit in front of constitutional court.

 

HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) lawmakers made a press statement in front of Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) about imprisoned lawmakers and ongoing operations towards politicians. HDP lawmakers Ahmet Yıldırım and Mithat Sancar spoke on behalf of HDP lawmakers.

 

Yıldırım “ This process has began on October 30 of 2014 with meeting of the National Security Council. A coup mechanism was established at that meeting. They waited for result of June 7 Election and after result of the election plan was launched.  But specially meeting of assembly on May 20 of 2016 was the most important day because immunity of lawmakers was removed. 13 months ago we warned all parties that was a coup. But politic parties played blind. And now operation is launched towards them. Coup mechanism doesn’t beaten without democratic policy” said.




HDP lawmaker Mithat Sancar spoke after Yıldırım. “ There are some signs that they will continue to arrest lawmakers. We don’t demand anything from constitutional court but we ask to follow their rules. Therefore we are here” said Sancar.




Sancar also told ‘Justice March’ of CHP are right decision even they have been late for it. 

 

After the press statement 21 lawmakers of HDP went to in front of the constitutional court for stage a sit in.
