HDP starts protests

ANKARA –HDP prepares to go to streets which will be continuing until November 4th. Weekly caucus will be conducted in Diyarbakır, İstanbul, Van and İzmir by HDP’s lawmakers and ‘Resistance Watching’ will be kept in these city during week.

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) is preparing to go to street after it declared ‘Democracy Struggle Plan’. 

In this context,  It was decided to conduct weekly caucus in different cities every week during summer. After weekly caucus of the party, lawmakers and HDP’s members will keep ‘Resistance Watching’ during a week.

According to schedule of the party, the first city will be Diyarbakır on June 25 of 2017. HDP will conduct its weekly caucus in Diyarbakır. After the caucus lawmakers and citizen will keep ‘Resistance Watching’ during week. After Diyarbakır, HDP will conduct its caucus in İstanbul, Van and İzmir. 

It was reported protests will be continuing until November 4th, the date when HDP’s lawmakers had been jailed.
