Baydemir : We will not stop but stop to fascism

DİYARBAKIR –HDP spokesperson Osman Baydemir spoke at the party’s caucus in Diyarbakır. Baydemir “ Kerbela is imposed to HDP. If you are insisting to being Yezid, we are intending on being holiness Ali. If you are insisting to being Hitler, Franco, we are intending on being Qazi Muhamed, Seyit Rıza and Mazlum Doğan” told.

 

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) conducted its weekly caucus with slogan of “ We shall not stop but stop the fascism” (Durmayalım, Dur Diyelim, Faşizmi Durduralım) in Ekin Ceren Park of Diyarbakır. Police didn’t allow people to attend the meeting. HDP’s spokesperson Osman Baydemir spoke at the caucus.

 

“ Why are we here at the hot time like Kerbala’s hot. A people is wanted to bury. A people is wanted to being ruled with oppression, cruelty. We are here at the public place because to stop these implementations” told Baydemir.




“ All values of this region were trampled. Democracy is blockaded by government’s policy. We are here to call whole world’s conscience. This is a movement of conscience and justice. Blockading around here is a prove of reel situation of Turkey. Here is public place which means every citizen can visit. But today a party which was gain 70 percent of vote in this city can’t conduct its caucus in here. Our executives and members are not allowed to come in this park which it was built when I was mayor of this city. Kerbela is imposed to HDP. If you are insisting to being Yezid, we are intending on being holiness Ali. If you are insisting to being Hitler, Franco, we are intending on being Qazi Muhamed, Seyit Rıza and Mazlum Doğan” told Baydemir.




Baydemir also reminded imprisoned co-mayors and lawmakers. “ There is no ending of cruelty. No one became prosperous with cruelty. None regime could get result from cruelty. This region was exposed from Mongols invasion. But roots of these peoples are too deep and can’t accept or obey the cruelty. Cruel regime has begun right after June 7 Election’s result and grew up by removing immunity of lawmakers. Then a new fascism page was opened by arresting HDP co-chairs and lawmakers on November 4th. Will of 4.5 millions people can’t be handcuffed. Right to elect and be elected can’t being put in dungeon. Trustee can’t be appointed to elected co-mayors’ position” said Baydemir.

 

Baydemir also mentioned the biggest obstacle in front of peace is isolation over PKK’s (Kurdistan Workers Party) leader Abdullah Öcalan. “ We don’t have any tool for violence. Even if they use violence against us we will not obey to fascism without using violence. Why are they scaring from a people who demands a peace with equal, justice? Because they are afraid of peace. Because peace means no more men die and their power demolishes. Our conscience and justice watching will continue until State of Emergency’s regime removes. We will not stop but stop to fascism. The biggest obstacle in front of peace is isolation over Abdullah Öcalan. Our justice and honorable peace demands  will continue until these isolation being removed” said Baydemir.
