Êzidîs forced to move AFAD Camps. 2016-12-27 12:53:37 DİYARBAKIR – After three years living in Yenişehir Municipality refugee camp Êzidîs forced to move to AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency) camp. Êzidîs who fled to Diyarbakır after ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) occupied the Sinjar in 2014. Democratic Regions Party municipality of Yenişehir had built a camp only for Êzidîs. After Sinjar was seized by Kurdish forces from ISIL, most of Êzidîs backed to their land and to Europe. Rest of them remained in the camp and all their needs were provided by benevolent associations. But after a trustee appointed to Yenişehir Municipality, Êzidîs forced to move AFAD camp. Personnel from municipality and benevolent associations were providing Êzidîs’ needs. But today authorities forced to make choose between both camps which are in Midyat and Antep. According to camp residents, authorities said that they will moved to different camps from today. Meanwhile I had been claimed that there are many radical Islamic group in AFAD camp and provide fighters to send Syria since AFAD accept refugee from Syria.
