Operation against social media shares : 10 people detained

AYDIN – 25 people included HDP executives were detained in raids in Aydın and Elazığ cities on claims of  “propaganda for illegal organization” and social media shares. Also three people were jailed in Adıyaman city on same charges.

 

Police detained 10 people included Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Aydın Province executives on reason of social media’s shares.

Police also seized the computers and cellphones. Detained people were taken to Aydın Police Headquarter.

Gendarme had been detained six people in Adıyaman center city and Samsat county three days ago. Three people were jailed on charge of “ propaganda for illegal organization” by social media sharings.

 

Police forces also raid to HDP Elazığ Province co-chair Ayfer Yılmaz, HDP executives Nihat Akdemir, Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Elazığ Province former co-chair Turan Çelik and unknow 15 people were detained in raids and taken to Elazığ Police Headquarter on charge of “ propaganda for illegal organization”
