13 days deatined journalists : We will persist

İSTANBUL – 13 days Detained journalists Ömer Çelik and Metin Yoksu sent message from İstanbul Police Headquarter. “We will continue to struggle despite of the wall of dungeon they put into us because of our persistent and decisive position” said journalists.

Six journalists had been detained in raids 13 days ago and are still kept into the custody. Closed Dicle News Agency (DİHA) news director Ömer Çelik and reporter Metin Yoksu sent message by their lawyers.

 “We knew that runners would be disturb while we insist to seeking the truth. But despite this, we will continue to struggle despite of the wall of dungeon they put into us because of our persistent and decisive position” said Ömer Çelik.

“We know that we are kept in here since 13 days. We are kept here only because we are journalists and again they want to pressure on us as they did before to Özgür Gündem Newspaper and Dicle News Agency. But we will act like Apé Musa’s legacy and they should know that we will not summit against them” said journalist Metin Yoksun.
