PES Committee blocks to visit Demirtaş by order of Governor

EDİRNE – The Party of European Socialist (PES) committee who purposed to visit imprisoned HDP co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş, had confronted with Edirne Governor “prohibition”.

 

PES committee had wanted to visit imprisoned HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş in Edirne F Type Prison. But committee had confront with Edirne Governor “prohibition”. Committee had stopped by soldiers in front of the prison. Soldier also didn’t let the committee make a press statement. Therefore committee had made a press statement in a field 200 meters far from the prison.
