Tounge cannot be sealed :KURDÎ-DER 2016-11-21 16:33:46 DİYARBAKIR – KURDÎ-DER which had taught Kurdish to ten thousand people was one of the closed association by Decree with Power of Law. KURDÎ-DER director Hacı Özkal said “the decision has nothing with law and they can’t sealed to tongue”. KURDÎ-DER (Kurdish Democracy Culture and Solidarity Association) was established in 8 October 2008 on the purpose of improve and popularize the Kurdish language. The association was teaching Kurdish language thousands people every year with its 36 branches in many cities. Headquarter of association in Diyarbakır had different level classes. Citizen could take lesson from association with free book and other materials. 15 thousand people had learned Kurdish language by our association education since 2008, said Özkal and reacted against to decision of closing their association. “We were teaching Kurdish on speaking, writing and listening to thousands people each year. Of course there is no any legal basis to close our association. Because were doing activity under the association regulation. But I am sure of that no power can stand against a language. People protect their language. They cannot seal people’s tongue” said Özkal
