A Spanish fighter in Syria : My mother had fought against Franco's Fascism 2017-05-10 13:01:40 RAQQA – Spanish fighter named Alberto Garcia from liberation of Tabqa Operation says her mother had fought against Franco’s fascism as he is fighting against DAİŞ’s fascism. Garcia “ This ideology might be a reborn of many people and sides” said. Democratic Syrian Forces ( QSD) took 95 percent of Tabqa city under the control and liberated from DAİŞ (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant). Numbers identities are fighting and continue to join QSD to liberate Syria while operation is continuing. Spanish fighter Alberto Garcia is one of those fighter who joint to QSD. Garcia, code name Şiyar Santuço says same struggle had given against Franco’s fascism. Santuço (26) was a scenarist and social media expert. He says his parents were revolutionists as well and her mother had fought against Franco’s fascism and she had been jailed because of it. “ My father carried works in Argentina, Mexico and Cuba” says Santuço. Santuço says he came to Rojava four months ago and learned Kurdish Language during military training in academy. “ Social thought in Rojava and Northern Syria was improved idea. The ideology of Rojava was the first reason I decided to come here. Democratic Autonomy inspired me and I started to think this system also can be practiced in Catalonia. Because this ideology can be reborn of many peoples and sides. Specially for revolutionists sides can be a perspective. They need to see it clearly” said Santuço. Santuço also mentioned his mother had fought against Franco’s fascism during dictatorship in Spain. “During Franco’s fascism, people not only from Spain but also from all around the world came to fight against Franco. Now same thing is happening in Syria. Fascism was re-born in Rojava and Northern Syria. People from all around the world had came to Spain against Franco’s fascism and today we need to come to Rojava. This is a moral responsibility. That’s why I came here. Now we are in Tabqa. We will move until we take back Tabqa and Raqqa from DAİŞ. This is an internationalist responsibility” said Santuço. Santuço also mention he will take the camera back his hand after fighting for revolution. “ My father carried cinema works during Cuba revolution.
