HDP vice co-chair Yıldırım : We will apply to ECHR for imprisoned lawmakers of HDP 2017-05-11 15:18:23 ANKARA – HDP vice co-chair Nadir Yıldırım said Constitutional Court (AYM) didn’t give an appointment to HDP yet and added “ Applying to European Court of Human Rigths (ECHR) will be our next move.” HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) vice co-chair Nadir Yıldırım spoke about process of applying to AYM for imprisoned lawmakers of HDP. “ We had applied to AYM two month ago. But AYM didn’t give an appointment yet” said Yıldırım. Yıldırım mentioned AYM doesn’t follow its rules. “ AYM had gave decision for CHP ( Republic People Party) lawmaker Mustafa Balbay which is precedent. Our demand is waited. There is no any concrete answer to us. Absolutely AYM have a politic attitude. Because there is any judicial attitude. They are under pressure of the power” said Yıldırım. Yıldırım also said there is no any faith to Turkish Judgement. “ Unfortunately ECHR can’t receive any application until domestic process ends. But ECHR may accept the application because Turkish judgement is known as bankrupt. Vice co-chair also mentioned about extraordinary congress of HDP which will be conducted on May 20. “ We are working on a struggle plan. We are as HDP already a peace process. HDP specifically tries to establish a struggle plan on base of a politic mind which brought open after April 16” said Yıldırım.
