Armed fighting occurres between soldier and police forces by mistake

HATAY- Armed fight occurred by mistake  between gendarme and police forces at the operation towards Çardak highland of Hatay and it was reported one soldier lost his life and one soldier, one police were wounded during armed fight.




It was claimed an armed fight occurred by mistake between gendarme and police forces at the military  operation towards Çardak highland. It was stated two special force of soldier  and one police  were wounded during the armed fighting. It was reported one soldier lost his life despite all medical intervention.




Governorship of Hatay made a statement after armed fighting. “ A military operation was launched toward separatist terrorist organization in Amanos region from May 11. Two member of special forces of military and one police were wounded in an armed fighting at 00.45 a.m. on May 13. One soldier from special forces lost his life despite all medical interventions” said governorship.

 

Meanwhile according to local sources, soldiers and police had ditch a number of location and all roads to Amanos were closed by state forces.
