Six people jailed in İzmir

İZMİR – Six people in 16 were jailed after being into custody in Torbalı County of İzmir.


18 people included executives of HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) had been taken into custody by police raids in Torbalı on May 18. After detention period ended 18 people sent into court house of İzmir. Prosecution sent six  people to the court for arrest on charge of “ Humiliate to Atatürk” and “ propaganda for illegal organization” .

Six people were jailed after the court board decision.
