Three-months-old baby taken into custody with her mother

MARDİN – Gülistan Konuş was taken into custody with her three-months-old baby while police raided HDP and DBP’s executives’ houses.


Houses of HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) and DBP (Democratic Regions Party) executives  were raided by police in Mardin at this early morning hours. It was reported former co-chair of HDP Artuklu province Mehmet Nezir Alp, Sevim Acay, Neval Bingöl, Abdülkerim Sayaki and Gülistan Konuş were taken into custody during raids. Five people were sent to police headquarter of Mardin.

It was also reported Gülistan Konuş was taken into custody with her three-months-old baby named Lenya.
