Six citizen jailed due to social media shares 2017-06-02 17:28:33 MALATYA – Six people included a citizen who has renal failure problem were jailed due to social media sharing after police raids in Yazıhan County of Malatya. Police raided a number houses in Yazıhan County of Malatya yesterday morning on June First. Citizens named Aziz Sertkaya, Selim Bayar, Yılmaz Bayar, Mehmet Ali Çıplak, Sırrı Çolak, Şaban Çolak, Azat İncesu and Hikmet Ölmez were taken into custody while police seized electronic appliance, notebook, book. After questioned in police headquarter, Six people were sent into court house while Sırrı and Çoban Çolak were released. Six people were jailed because of social media shares by court board’s decision. It was also reported Aziz Sertkaya who has renal failure problem was jailed because of his speech at his son’s funeral ceremony. Sertkaya’s son lost his life in Rojava on 2014. Family of Aziz Sertkaya told dihaber that he has a number problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure and silk road disease.
