Baskın Oran : CHP shouldn't got HDP beaten up

ANKARA –Politic scientist Baskın Oran told CHP lawmaker Enis Berberoğlu was jailed because of CHP stayed silence when HDP lawmakers were jailed. “ CHP shouldn’t have got HDP beaten up” said Oran.

After immunity of lawmaker was removed by support of CHP ( Republic People Party) , HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ were jailed and then tens of HDP lawmakers were put in jail. CHP lawmaker of Istanbul Enis Berberoğlu was jailed after the court decision yesterday on June 14. Politic scientist Baskın Oran answered dihaber’s question. Baskın Oran reminded Armenian Genocide and Nazi treatments and said “ CHP shouldn’t have got HDP beaten up.”

 * CHP lawmaker Enis Berberoğlu was jailed after tens lawmakers of HDP were jailed. In this context what does arresting Berberoğlu mean?


It means Erdoğan will not stop until he is stopped.

Numbers HDP lawmakers were jailed and now CHP’s turn. When more lawmakers will arrested TBMM ( Grand National Assembly of Turkey) will be left without representation of people. Assembly will be only a party’s assembly.

“We shouldn’t have let Armenians were killed” is very well known story among us. 

 Now CHP shouldn’t have got HDP beaten up.
 

* What is the contribution of removing immunity over arresting elected lawmakers? Because CHP vote yes for ‘removing immunity proposal.

Everything began when immunity was removed. It has just been a year.

 Kılıçdaroğlu had told “ the proposal is against constitution but we will vote ‘yes”. That means CHP told metaphorically ‘I am not Kurd therefore I will stay silence’. But Kılıçdaroğlu is calling to people for resistance right now.

 * When will oppression finish over opponents ? What  should opposition parties do?

Oppression will continue until Erdoğan to being stopped. Opposition parties  should stop Erdoğan by legal way without using violence. Erdoğan is pragmatic. He will stop when he sees there is no benefit to do this.
