HDP's spokesperson Baydemir : Ankara is under the fascism's blockade

ANKARA – HDP spokesperson Osman Baydemir told people were blocked while they were coming to Ankara to attend former co-chair of HDP Figen Yüksekdağ’s trial. “ Ankara was taken under the fascism by governorship and interior minister” said Baydemir.

 

HDP ( Peoples’ Democratic Party) spokesperson Osman Baydemir made a press statement about trial of former HDP co-chair Figen Yüksekdağ’s trial in front of party’s headquarter in Ankara. “ Democratic policy has been wanted to being discharged since November 4 of 2016 when HDP lawmakers were jailed. Since then law and justice have been suspended. After 242 days Yüksekdağ’s trial will be heard. But HDP is faced with unlawful treatments before trial begins” said Baydemir.




“ Cars of the lawyers who wanted to attend the trial from Konya, Antalya and Diyarbakır were impounded  and they were stopped on road to Ankara. Ankara has been taken under the fascism by directions of governor and interior minister” said Baydemir.




After the statement Baydemir left the headquarter to Courthouse to attend the trial.
