Kılıçdaroğlu reacts to Erdoğan's 'Demirtaş is a terrorist' statement

NEWS BUREAU –CHP chairperson Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu reacted to Erdoğan’s statement that he described HDP co-chair Demirtaş as ‘terrorist’. “Erdoğan puts himself as judgment that’s why he declares anyone as terrorist” said Kılıçdaroğlu.

CHP (Republic People Party) chairperson Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu spoke to Aslı Işık Deutsche Welle (DW) Turkey. Kılıçdaroğlu reacted to Erdoğan’s statement that he mentioned about HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş as ‘terrorist’.

“ Politician, businessperson or someone else except the judgement can’t describe anyone as ‘terrorist’. But Erdoğan puts himself as judgment that’s why he describes anyone as ‘terrorist’. Therefore judge decides to arrest people” said Kılıçdaroğlu.

“ I saw things from Erdoğan that ; Despite he use every means available  of the state, he couldn’t get 50 percent during referendum. He could reach to 50 percent by supreme committee of election. He sees that he will go on 2019’s election. He oppresses people because he know that he will go. But whatever he does, he will go in 2019” said Kılıçdaroğlu.
