A large number of citizen jailed in different cities 2017-07-15 14:14:07 NEWS BUREA – 29 people were jailed in Bitlis, Van, Balıkesir and Manisa cities in different dates. 23 people included members and executives of HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) were jailed in Bitlis,Van and Manisa cities. It was also reported detained five people were sent into the court after they were taken into custody by police in Turgutlu county of Manisa and three people were jailed. Four people in 10 who were taken into custody by police raids in Tatvan, Hizan, Mutki and Ahlat counties of Bitlis city were sent into the courthouse after questioned in police headquarter. Prosecutor demanded jailing four people on claim of ‘ aiding illegal organization’ and ‘propaganda for illegal organization’ from the court. Four people were jailed by court decision. It was also reported six people who are still kept in police headquarter will be sent to court house on Monday. Four jailed in Özalp County 22 people who were taken into custody in Özalp county of Van after AKP (Justice and Development Party) Özalp Province vice chair Aydın Ahi was killed were sent into court house. HDP Özalp province co-chair Recep Ceyrancı, vice co-chair Mesut Erzengin, alderperson of DBP (Democratic Regions Party) Suat Özdere and a citizen named Naci Çiçekdenk were jailed on claim of ‘activity on behalf of illegal organization”. Meanwhile 14 in rest of 18 people were released by juridical control decision and four of them were released in the police headquarter. 12 jailed in Istanbul 39 in 44 people who were taken into custody in Istanbul, Ankara,Diyarbakır,Hakkari and Kocaeli were sent into courthouse of Çağlayan-Istanbul yesterday evening on July 14. 12 in 39 were jailed on claims of ‘ being member of illegal organization’, ‘propaganda for illegal organization’ and ‘aiding to illegal organization’ by court board. Six jailed in Balıkesir 16 people included university students had been take into custody after denunciation in nine cities based Balıkesir on July 6. Citizens were sent into the courthouse of Balıkesir. Six people were jailed because of social media shares by courthouse. Meanwhile it was reported warrant was issued for two students.
