Armenian fighter in Raqqa : The city will be peoples' city 2017-07-21 12:48:40 RAQQA – Lejvan Paramaz Munzur who joint to QSD for liberation of Raqqa from Europe says he is from Dersim and added “ We will make Raqqa as the city of peoples again.” Operation for liberation is Raqqa led-by QSD (Democratic Syrian Forces) is continuing since 46 days. Battle royal is occurring between DAİŞ (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) and QSD in the west,east and south of the city. An Armenian of Dersim born in Germany named Lejvan Paramaz Munzur (30) says he joint to QSD 10 months ago and fighting against DAİŞ on behalf of peoples. “ I used to be nurse for seven years in a retirement home. Then I decided to involve to revolution. I can speak German, Turkish and Kurdish. I wanted to be volunteer in operation of Raqqa. I didn’t want to sit back and watch the cruelty of DAİŞ anymore. My family from Dersim and they are Armenian. Peoples included Kurds, Armenian, Christians were exposed to genocide in this region. I am fighting for having revenge of those peoples” said Munzur.
