A Pharmacist from Raqqa as witness of slave's bazaar 2017-07-22 15:07:15 RAQQA – Pharmacist Henan Mihemed from Raqqa who was rescued from DAİŞ by QSD spoke out Sinaa Neighborhood where women were sold as slave. Democratic Syrian Forces (QSD) is continuing to liberate Raqqa city street by street from DAİŞ (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant). During liberation streets and neighborhood, number of civilians are rescued as well from DAİŞ cruelty. Pharmacist Henan Mihemed is one of civilians who was rescued. “I am pharmacist and my shop is in the neighborhood of Sebehiye. The first days of operation I was rescued by QSD and finally could return my home and shop. I could go to Mosoul, Tel-Afer and Sinjar because I am pharmacist. During DAİŞ was attacking to Sinjar, I was on road of Mosoul-Raqqa and I saw numerous murdered Yazidi women and children on the streets” says Mihemed. Mihemed also says he was detained for a period because he didn’t follow rules of DAİŞ. “ Leader who detained me had bought 16 Yazidis women for 300 thousand dollars. Mostly Chechens, Afghans, Kyrgyz and Uzbeks among DAİŞ were buying Yazidis women. But after Raqqa and Mosoul operations began, they destroyed the slave’s bazaar and continue to do this business in the houses. Mostly foreigners of DAİŞ were buying those women. There were some people who were buying women with their daughters. If women have son, DAİŞ were educating them as gangs” says Mihemed. “Women were being sent to basements in Sinaa Neighborhood. Most women of in Sinaa Neighboorhood were given to leaders of DAİŞ as gift. Then those women were given to some other people. The location where Yazidis women were kept made forbidden for civilian. No one could get in those zones except DAİŞ members” says Mihemed. “ Seller of Yazidis women were mostly from Algeria citizens of DAİŞ. Women were embellished before they were selling to men. But there were some people who were buying Yazidis women for rescuing them. A friend of mine had bought seven Yazidis women to rescue them. But his head was cut on road of Mosoul.
