HDP's lawmaker Önder :We will grow to watching like topsy

İSTANBUL –  Second stage of HDP’s ‘Conscience and Justice Watching’ has begun in Yoğurtcu Park of Istanbul with 12 HDP’s lawmakers. It was reported police blockaded the park. HDP’s lawmaker Sırrı Süreyya Önder “ We will grow the Conscience and Justice Watching” told people who attended the watching.

People weren’t allowed to enter the park where 12 HDP’s ( Peoples’ Democratic Party) lawmakers included co-chair Serpil Kemalbay launched the watching. 


Lawmaker Sırrı Süreyya Önder made a statement to people who weren’t allowed to enter the park. “ They had taken picture of Newroz’s area at morning of March 21 before celebration had begun and wrote at the newspaper ‘ No one attended the Newroz Celebration’. Now they are doing same thing. They had surrounded the park with armored vehicles and turned city to an open prison. Then pro-government media wrote ‘ HDP called people to the watching but no one came’. We are facing with same implementation today. But we will grow the watching “ told Önder.

“ The watching will became an important meeting for ones who seeks peace in Turkey. It is not possible to stop this. Even if one single person being left in here, he/she will be the voice of peace seeker which they don’t know. Long live solidarity” told Önder.
