HDP's co-chair Kemalbay : We shall beat fascism all together

İSTANBUL – HDP’s co-chair Serpil Kemalbay spoke at the HDP’s ‘Conscience and Justice Watch’ in Yoğurtçu Park of Istanbul. Kemalbay “ We have courage to beat darkness, we shall beat fascism together” told.

Second stage of HDP’s (Peoples’ Democratic Party) ‘Conscience and Justice Watch’ has begun in  Yoğurtçu Park of İstanbul. 12 HDP’s lawmakers,  Filiz Kerestecioğlu, Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Nadir Yıldırım, Mithat Sancar, Hişyar Özsoy, Ayşe Acar Başaran, Bedran Öztürk, Erdal Ataş, Leyla Birlik, Sibel Yiğitalp, Erol Dora and İbrahim Ayhan came to park for the watch with co-chair Serpil Kemalbay at this early morning.

‘ cure of fascism is justice’, ‘Democratic policy can’t purged’, ‘Social Peace is necessary’ banners were hanged in the park before the watch has begun.

It was also reported Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDK) co-spokesperson Gülistan Kılıç, Labor Party (EMEP) chairperson Selme Gürkan, Executive Committee member of June Movement (Haziran Hareketi) Erkan Baş,  Socialist Party of Oppressed (ESP) vice co-chair Fadime Çelebi, Laborer Movement Party (EHP) chairperson Oya Baydar and representatives of Dialogue Group, Unity for Democracy, Alevi’s organizations attended the watch.

Group deputy chairperson Kerestecioğlu spoke at the party’s caucus. “ It doesn’t enough to condemn this barricades. We know that we could be thousands if these barricades wouldn’t placed around the park. We will keep continue the watch for a week and open to visitors. We know we will break fascism’s blockades all together. They placed the barricades because they know we are in the right side. We will certainly and certainly win” told Kerestecioğlu.

Co-chair Kemalbay spoke after Kerestecioğlu.“We wanted to gather in here against ones who wants to lock the assembly and silenced our lawmakers. But we saw that they want to lock the streets too. Many struggles had been conducted in this park such as women, workers’ struggles. Therefore conducting  ‘Conscience and Justice  Watch’ is important” stated Kemalbay.


“ Assembly was made nonfunctional after June 7 Election. But we keep continue to raise victory of June 7 Election to beat this fascism. We call people to beat fascism all together. Because one man regime doesn’t gone without struggling” stated Kemalbay.
