Wounded student stuck in Cizre during curfew punished for 10 years prison sentence 2017-08-04 11:57:04 ŞIRNAK – University student Enes Aydoğan who woundedly was stuck in Cizre during curfew was punished for 10 years and six months prison sentence. The case which student Enes Aydoğan is judged arrived at conclusion. Court board punished university student Aydoğan who woundedly was stuck in Cizre during curfew for seven years prison sentence on claim of ‘being member of illegal organization’. Court board had increased prison sentence to 10 years and six month. Aydoğan ‘ I went to Cizre with my friends from university for travelling. Then conflicts had begun and we were stuck in the city. I stayed with a family by hoping conflicts would end soon. Then I wanted to leave the city because conflicts didn’t end but I was shot right after I went out’ said to the court board. “I lost my consciousness when I was shot and I was taken by residents of Cizre to a house for medical intervention. When I became better, I wanted to leave the county again. Out of the county, I was taken into custody by police at 48th days of curfew. I don’t have any membership or connection with any illegal organization” told Aydoğan. Aydoğan’s lawyer Filiz Ölmez told ‘ the element of antimon can be found on any person who were in the county during curfew. All people in the county somehow were influenced from conflicts. Therefore you can’t accuse people as member of ‘illegal organization’. Secret witness who had testimony over Aydoğan told he/she doesn’t know Aydoğan at the trial and he/she also mentioned that policed forced her/him to sign testimony.”
