Meetings in Damascus and Urfa : Turkey and Regime came to an agreement

HESEKÊ –It was claimed that compelled ongoing operation towards Al-Bab Turkey and Syria Regime had agreement after the meetings in Damascus and Urfa. According the agreement Turkey withdraw from Al-Bab and common battalions will formed for Northern Syria.




It was claimed that an envoy of National Intelligence Organization of Turkey (MİT) met with Ba’ath Regime’s authorities in Damascus Courthouse on January 28.

According to Ba’ath commander of Qamishli Hüsam, Turkey and Ba’ath Regime negotiated on Al-Bab and Northern Syria. Commander Hüsam said “ The meeting between Turkey and Ba’ath authorities took five hours. MİT also informed the regime’s authorities that they are preparing to attack towards Cizir and Manbij”.



Hüsam also claimed that the regime and Turkey agreed to withdraw from Al-Bab. According to Hüsam, withdrawn troops of Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) and Free Syria Army forces ( FSA) will positioned on Shahba Region. Besides it is aimed to make a domestic disturbance in Cizir and Manbij.




According to received information, TSK, MİT and Turkish Government authorities also conducted a meeting with a huge group in Urfa after Damascus meeting. Groups which attended the meeting will involve to five battalions which will be belonging to Syria Regime.
