Xerabé Bava Village blockaded : 39 people taken into custody, two missed, three killed

MARDİN – It was reported that 39 people were taken into custody by tortures, two villagers are missed and three were killed in Xerabé Bava village of Nusaybin in Mardin.


Despite removed curfew after one day in Xerabé Bava Village (Koruköyü) of Nusaybin, blockade is continuing around the village. It was claimed that three people were killed by soldiers while there is no any contact with village. Therefore it couldn’t received any clear information from the village expect numbers villagers were sent to police headquarter after they were taken into custody by torture.


Released villagers after taken into custody by torture Zahir Doğan (60) and Hanife Doğan (55) stated that villagers named Süleyman Yakut and Mehmet Bal are missed by security forces after they were exposed to torture at square of the village.



According to Mardin Governorship, “two high level members of separatist organization were killed by carried out operation towards seven rural villages.
