VAN – It was claimed that 16 people included children were exposed to torture into the custody in police headquarter.


16 people included children were taken into custody on charges of “being member of illegal organization” in neighborhoods of Van city in police raids on February 11.


It was claimed that a citizen named Cengiz Teymur was exposed to heavy torture during the detention.


Meanwhile Şervan Aslan and a child 15 year-old were sent into the courthouse. Aslan was released after prosecution’s questioned. 16 year-old child was jailed on charge of “being member of illegal organization” and sent to Van T Type Closed Prison.
