URFA – 92 percent disabled citizen named Aziz Kanar is kept into custody since four days after bomb attack occurred towards the government lodgment in Viranşehir-Urfa. Aziz’s father Halil Kanar says his son can’t even walk without help.


Operation is continuing as part of investigation over bomb attack in Viranşehir. 44 people included 92 percent disabled Aziz Kanar were taken into custody last two days. Father of Aziz “Police raided towards our house. They pointed a gun to my head. They asked where Aziz is. Aziz is disabled. I showed them Aziz. They also searched the house but couldn’t find anything. The searching finished around 6.30 a.m. There were two motorcycles. They took both. They also took Aziz into custody” said.

Father Kanar also reminded that his son is taken into custody in every operation towards Viranşehir. “My son’s neck was broken by accident in 2001. There is also medical report that he is 92 percent disabled. He can’t move since his neck was broken. He can’t even eat by himself. They took such as person into custody” stated father Kanar.
