Halise Gülistan Diken sent to prison with her seven months year-old baby

İSTANBUL –Halise Gülistan Dİken was punished for six years and three months prison sentence and sent to prison with her seven month-year-old babyon charge of “being member of illegal organization” because she attended the press statement in Maltepe-İstanbul in 2012.

Halise Gülistan Diken was put in jail again after she was punished six years and three months prison sentence. Dİken had been taken into custody with 9 people and jailed in Maltepe on 12 January 2012.

After Supreme court confirmed Dikens’s punishment, she was sent to Bakırköy Women Prison again. Also her seven month-year-old baby named Miraz Aram Akbaba was sent to jail as well.

Meanwhile the judge, who decided to punish Diken on charge of “being member of illegal organization” is jailed on charge of “ being member of Gülenist organization”.
