'No' campaign starts in Diyarbakır

DİYARBAKIR – Province Coordination of Referendum which established by HDP,DBP, DTK and TJA started to referendum campaign on ‘No’ in Diyarbakır.




Province Coordination of Referendum which established by HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party),DBP (Democratic Regions Party), DTK (Democratic Society Congress) and TJA (Free Women Movement) started to referendum campaign on ‘No’ in Diyarbakır. The coordination announced that they started to referendum campaign by press statement in Ofis-Diyarbakır. The meeting which was planned to realize in Sanat Sokağı (Art Street) was blocked by hundreds police.




DBP Province co-chair Mehmet Zeki Baran “Turkey needs a new constitution but not made one by coup. They want to change the constitution only for presidency system which is only for one man. Turkey doesn’t need a presidency regime but peace. The future which people can live at peace.

The press statement ended by slogans of gathered people.
