DİYARBAKIR – HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) and DBP (Democratic Regions Party) politicians are targeted since last year after November 1 election. Last one year about 15 thousand politicians had been taken into custody and 5.530 of them had arrested.

According to HDP and DBP’s law commissions and press departments at least 5.530 Kurdish politicians are imprisoned. At least 7.200 HDP members and politicians had been taken into custody and 2.830 of them were imprisoned. About 7 thousand DBP politicians had taken into custody and 2.700 of them were imprisoned.

Parliamentary Immunities were lifted

AKP power had propose the lifting parliamentary immunity. The propose was had become legalized by CHP and MHP supports despite HDP warned heaps of times that they are planning to arrest HDP deputies. However HDP had announced that policy is not about law process but it is about politic process. Therefore none deputy will go to bear to testimony, had said co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş.

Solitary Confinement for parliamentarians

Numbers of courts had begun to send investigation notifications for HDP parliamentarian after parliamentary immunity had lifted. Those investigation notifications almost about political activities and speeches of parliamentarians. At last HDP parliamentarians were taken into custody at November 4 night. Co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ, Group deputy chairperson İdris Baluken, Parliamentarians Nursel Aydoğan,Leyla Birlik, Ferhat Encü, Gülser Yıldırım,Selma Irmak,Nihat Akdoğan and Abdullah Zeydan were arrested. Parliamentarians were brought to the west’s F type prisons immediately and had put the cells.
